"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever...It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything." -Aaron Siskund

Jared Kay Bio:
I'm a mostly down to earth & humble person. I do not like to boast, yet I take pride in my work, and aspire to be the best I possibly can. I am a photographer who strives to create excellent, creative and artistic photos which you will always value and appreciate. If you feel a connection with my work, it is likely that we will make a successful collaboration.
Located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, I find I don’t need to travel far to find creative inspiration, and unique shooting locations.
I am 26 years old and happily married to my best friend Sonia, who was in fact my high-school sweetheart.
I am a technology geek. I have always loved gadgets, cameras, and computers (namely Apple).
We both enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, and cars (Honda's to be exact).
I love exploring the mountains & countryside with my wife, my camera, & our dog cookie.
I also have a thing for bookstores (a wealth of knowledge), and good coffee shops. (check out my gallery at the Ugly Mug in H'ville)

A wise man once said
"The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable."
- Kurt Vonnegut -
I strive to live by those words, and keep photography a sacred bond between myself, and the world around me.
